Gibbons Mill
Opposite the Blue Ship pub, you can park on the verge.
Take the road opposite pub for 100meters turn left into Marles lane, past the lake, a little further on turn right off of the track onto a footpath that goes past a building. Ignore the next footpath that goes right and carry on into the wood, keep ahead until you reach the road, turn right, after about half a mile turn left alongside Bignor farm drive turn right (there are free range pigs here)carry on across the field to the bottom edge of the small wood in front, once at the other end, go diagonally across the field bearing right, across the drive and up the side of the next field. Enter the wood, you will have the river to your left, When you emerge at the far end you will have houses in-front, the path usually goes to the right of the one near the river (Just occasionally the path is directed around livestock).
When you reach the driveway it is worth turning left and walking 20yards or so to go and look at Gibbons Mill, otherwise turn right up the drive to the road, turn left up the road, after a few hundred yards take the footpath on your right along the hedge and into the oak wood. The footpath goes over the track inside the wood into the middle then turns left back across the same track, alongside a property and onto the road, turn left, this takes you back to your car.
Although there are quite a few roads and houses on this walk, there are lots to interest you
